From This Girl’s Perspective…

I love my dog. Immensely.  She knows me as “mama.” She’s mine to care for.  I’m hers to protect.  We belong to one another. She fills my heart. Immensely. I love my dog despite her flaws, which there are many. I can’t lie. She’s a nervous, anxious mess. Her skin irritation costs us a fortune.  She’s terribly insecure.  She barks all the time, feasts on garbage and attacks the cat.  She’s flawed. Immensely.  My love for her remains pure, consuming and true. She wags her tail when I enter the door, she gazes at me with kind and loving eyes and smiles when I pick up her leash. I sneak her treats and cover her in kisses. She loves me, yes, but she loves her papa more. That hurts. Immensely.

From A Pup’s Perspective…

The woman who lives with me is a nut-job!  She’s crazy.  Immensely.  Insane!  She’s calls herself “mama” and constantly hugs and cuddles me. She makes me a nervous, anxious mess!  My skin is breaking out in hives.  She’s terribly insecure and I have to bark to protect her. She’s flawed.  Immensely.  She tries to read my mind and speaks to me in a foreign language.  Why doesn’t the cat have to put up with this shit?   I turn to papa for help. He shakes his head.  He loves my mama.   Immensely.  We both wonder why… I wag my tail and cover her in kisses.  It makes her happy after all.  When she’s happy, I get treats.  She’s wrapped around my little paw.  Immensely.
